A few months ago I was reading a book on
attracting wealth. The author made a bold claim:

He said he could predict how much money is in your
bank account just by looking at the 5 business
people you hang out with.

He said this works because of these two rules
about money:

(1) If you spend your time around poor people, you
will be poor

(2) If you spend your time around rich people, you
will be rich

I thought he was full of crap. I usually don’t
believe in touchy feely type business advice.

However, this idea stuck in the back of my mind. I
could not get it out of my head.

I decided to give it a try. For 30 days I hung out
with rich people.

I met a guy named Phil who has owned more than 32
successful businesses. Phil is rich.

A few weeks after meeting Phil I saw him at my local
Starbucks. He invited me to join his private
mastermind group.

Phil’s two brothers are both in the mastermind group.
They are rich too.

After going to their meetings, I noticed new
opportunities that came to me without even trying.

For example, one guy asked me to give him some
coaching advice on his business. He paid me a lot
of money ($12,000) for very little work. I didn’t
ask for this opportunity. It just happened.

A week later I was asked to speak at an Internet
Marketing conference. There were over 200 people
there. We got over 100 new customers from that
event. I didn’t ask for this opportunity. It just
happened.

All of these things are making my bank account
grow larger and larger.

I looked for other rich people to hang out with. I
wanted to hang out with Greg Davis. Greg is an
affiliate marketer who makes $50,000 per day.

(That is not a typo. Greg makes $50,000 per day
from affiliate websites!)

I asked Greg to have dinner with Dave and I. I am
sure that he had other places to be, but Greg
agreed to have dinner with us.

The very next day we got a phone call from an
affiliate network. They had a new offer for us. We
sent traffic to that offer and it is making us
$45,000 per month.

Again, our bank accounts kept getting bigger just
from hanging out with rich people.

Let me be crystal clear about this: We do not
believe in magic or touchy feely stuff. We have no
idea why this works, but it does.

That is why I am so excited for the Affiliate
Summit event we are hosting next month.

We want you to come to this event. Here’s why:
This is a one-of-a-kind, once-in-a-lifetime
experience.

We have assembled a group of the top
insiders who don’t ever speak in public or reveal
their secrets. In fact, they may never do this again.
(Heck, we may never do this type of event ever
again.)

Plus, this is going to be an exclusive, private
setting. You will be able to spend time with Greg
– the $50,000 per day Affiliate. You’ll also spend
time with Dan Van Orman. Dan runs the affiliate
offers for Donald Trump. Of course, Dave and I
will be there too.

These guys are at the highest level, but they are
also super-friendly. I guarantee you’ll be shocked
at how much they will help you with your
affiliate campaigns.

Again, seats are limited. Two seats were grabbed
up yesterday. Reserve your seat here before it’s
too late.

-Ben

P.S. You may have heard that Dave and I are
officially “retired” from the large seminars.

We are not putting on any more big events.

Instead, we are limiting our live training to
one-on-one type training, which will be 5X the
price of a normal seminar seat.

If you’ve thought about getting live training,
then this is your last chance to take
advantage of it at a crazy low price.

Here is a guest editorial by Richard Dennis – a great copywriter who worked with Gary Halbert and is responsible for selling over 250 Million audio tapes in the 90’s.

I just attended a very good marketing seminar put on by Ben Moskel & Dave Clabeaux in Tampa. It reminded me of how much I owe to other marketers. Maybe you’ll find benefit in this story.

In October of 1990, I sat at Gary Halbert’s kitchen table in his Key West condo. By day, I was a mild-mannered bus driver on Miami Beach – sort of Ralph Kramden South.

By night, I was Super Writer. I worked on a modern word processing machine in the wee hours, writing sales letters for people I had met at another marketing seminar. I’d been writing for about a year when I FedExed a package of my letters to Gary Halbert, self-proclaimed Prince of Print. I asked Halbert if I could write copy for his clients at his $7000 Seminar by the Sea in Key West.

I was pretty astonished when he called the next night and invited me to work with him.

A few weeks later, Halbert & I sat at his kitchen table. He was carrying a legal-sized yellow pad. That’s where he wrote his copy. No computer … this was 1990. Heck … not even a typewriter. He created with pen on paper, and someone at his office entered it into the computer.

Also in the kitchen was Paulette. I knew her from his newsletters. Twenty years before anyone ever heard of eHarmony.com, Paulette was the lady Halbert chose from all those women who responded to his FULL-PAGE girl-seeking ad in the Los Angeles Times. In that very unique ad, Halbert described the woman he wanted in his life. Took him weeks to sift through all the responses from the beautiful ladies of Southern California, and to choose Paulette. Just another reason he was a living legend among direct marketers.

On the kitchen table sat a copy of a recent issue of The National Enquirer. At one point in our conversation, Halbert picked up the Enquirer and showed me the full-page ad he’d recently written for his book, Maximum Money In Minimum Time.

He said, “I spent $22,000 for that ad.”

$22k. Wow. That was more than half my yearly salary as a bus driver. Brother.

And then he told me a secret that inspired me to my own marketing success. In his newsletter, Halbert wrote every month about which marketing strategies had worked for him and which ones hadn’t. Well, mostly what worked. But he never wrote about his full-page ad in the Enquirer.

He said, “You know what I got back? $2000. I thought it would be a good market for my book. But those guys just want something for nothing. HUH!”

The man had just dropped half-a-year of my salary, and all he could say was “HUH!” Halbert was a direct marketing legend. He was a huge success. He was a model for thousands of marketers like me. And yet there I sat at his kitchen table, getting an inside peek at what looked to me like a very big failure.

I spent that week with Halbert and 45 of his clients from all over the country. Plus, the other direct marketing legends who were his guest speakers (Bill Myers, Dan Kennedy, Carl Galletti, Ken Kerr, Ted Nicholas & others) … and my fellow copywriters (John Carlton, Brad Antin, David Deutsch, Gene Dowdle, Loretta Duffy, & Brad Peterson). Easily the most memorable week of my life … I could write a book just about our “copywriter retreats” to the bars of Key West in the evenings after each session.

But my biggest inspiration came at Halbert’s kitchen table as he told me how he dropped $20,000 on one ad. Until then, I mostly thought of myself as a doofus marketer, way out of my league at Halbert’s seminar. I believed my string of personal failures would go on forever, and I would never be as successful as any of these people.

And then to hear Halbert’s secret that he never shared with his subscribers … how he lost $20k on a single bad advertising choice … and to see him shrug it off … just absolutely inspired me.

Heck – I could do THAT!

In fact, 7 years later, I did. I hired a well-known pro to completely re-do a mailing package I had written & mailed successfully. I then test-mailed it to 25 well-chosen (I thought) lists. Cost? $75,000. Return? The same $2000 Halbert had gotten. My reaction? “HUH! That was dumb!” And quickly on to the next project.

I’ve often thought of that kitchen table and my private glimpse into Halbert’s business as his inner doofus connecting with my own. I will be forever grateful to the Prince of Print for telling me about his loss … and acting like it was just the most minor annoyance.

Richard Dennis

I’d like to share a story with you about two
seminar goers.

A few years back two men from different parts of
the country went to an Internet marketing seminar.

Both men were of about the same intelligence and
experience. Both men had similar businesses and
income levels.

During the seminar both of them attended all the
classes and networking sessions. They took
thorough notes and asked questions. In other words,
both men took the event very seriously.

Each went home from the seminar with notebook
full of information and newly acquired knowledge.

One man put his notebook on his shelf where it
collected dust. He never again opened his notebook.
He didn’t implement a single new strategy that he
learned at the seminar.

He continued to make the same amount of
money from one year to the next.

The other man went home from the seminar and
created a “to do” list with his notebook.

He implemented about 75% of the items on his
list.

This man made an additional $40,000 in net
profit within one month of leaving the seminar.

His overall revenue increased over $100,000 per
year after the seminar.

This is a true story.

It has now been two weeks since the System
Seminar.

What new lessons or strategies have you
implemented?

Do you have just a notebook full of material that
is collecting dust?

You invested a ton of time and money into going
to this year’s seminar. I know I did.

The knowledge that you acquired only has value if
you IMPLEMENT the powerful lessons that you learned.

I admit that sometimes I just stare absentmindedly at my massive
to-do list and feel completely overwhelmed and frustrated.

(It feels like I am sinking in quicksand.)

It doesn’t have to be this way.

I learned a secret weapon for my business that has a 100%
success rate to get things DONE!

Are you ready to discover the secret weapon?

The powerful secret weapon is to OUTSOURCE
most of your tasks. I know that the concept of outsourcing
is nothing new to you.

However, you’ve probably never outsourced THIS way
before. You might be completely unaware of the amazing
yet inexpensive talent just a few clicks away.

These days I outsource about 75% of my business. The
stuff I used to agonize over is now somebody
else’s task.

I am freed up to do the things I enjoy and are
most valuable to the bottom line.

For instance, I use Wordpress for a lot of mywebsites.
Wordpress is great software but it drives me clinically insane!

I usually break my entire website if I press the wrong
button.

I now have a gal who does all my Wordpress work.
She is fast because she is an absolute Wordpress wiz.

I’d like to share a few fantastic outsourcing
resources that I use regularly:

1. HireMyMom.com – you’ll find some amazing talent
at HiremyMom.com.

Most of the candidates are stay-at-home moms who live
in the U.S.A. so there are no language barriers.

(I just hired a lady who used to write articles
for a local paper for an amazingly inexpensive
price).

2. Elance.com – You can find talent for almost any
job. I like to use elance.com for transcription work, basic
landing page designs, some programming, audio and
video editing, etc.

(Be prepared to deal with a few language barriers
though.)

3. OnlineJobs.ph – here you will find Philipino
workers who are looking for more long term type
employment.

You can get a full-time worker for
about $450 per month.

Do the math: that’s only $2.82 per hour for
a full-time employee!

You will need to invest some time in training your
new “employee.” However, from my experience,
the right employee is extremely eager to learn and willing
to teach himself/herself if you point them in the right direction.

Finally, one more nugget for you:

Outsourcing only works if you are crystal clear
about your expectations. I suggest you make NO
assumptions about their knowledge of your business
or desires.

You need to literally spell out your expectations
as if explaining them to a small child.

I have a three page job description template I
use whenever I post a new project. It is extremely
detailed.

This makes things easy when you post a new
project because it provides a proven template to
work from.

I posted the template online for you. Feel free to
swipe it and use it as a template for your own
projects.

During my presentation at The System Seminar I shared a secret to how a simple pop-under window brings in an extra $14,000 per month in monthly revenues…without any additional traffic.

You may also remember hearing from Alex Andre, who volunteered to have his website critiqued during one of the panel discussions. (Alex is the guy selling the bartending info-product).

I thought that Alex’s sales funnel is perfect for a pop-under. Alex and I got on a call this morning and I walked him through installing a pop-under on his website. We recorded the call so you can follow along and install a pop-under on your site as well.

I met Greg Davis of SuperAffiliateRockstar.com last summer at a private mastermind event in Maryland. I heard about Greg from a few other Internet Marketers. They insisted I meet Greg because he was doing some astronomical numbers with his affiliate sites.

Specifically, an average day for Greg was about $50,000 per DAY in affiliate sales with very healthy margins.

I was fortunate enough to spend two days learning his methods and have learned and executed a tremendous number of the same strategies. The best part about Greg is that he has not let his super-affiliate status get to his head.

He’s down to earth and happy to share all of his hard earned knowledge. Here is one of his recent video tutorials:
